Intern and Wildlife Rehabilitator

Maryrose began volunteering with Candy in 2021 assisting in rescues in the Charlottetown area. Her first rescue was a young pigeon who got the name Lucky Larry and since then she has assisted with every animal from mice to eagles.

She currently volunteers as Candy’s right hand, answering questions from the public, assisting in rescues and is a permitted Wildlife Rehabilitator.

Her goal in the future is to work as a fulltime Wildlife Rehabilitator at the permanent rehabilitation facility.
