Giving Prince Edward Island wildlife
a second chance to thrive in the wild
Help us change that!
We need donations from our fellow Islanders and corporate sponsors to help us build our permanent facility.
Without it, we risk losing our Wildlife Rehabilitation Permits in early 2027!
This 4 part docu-series about the PEI Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Inc. created by Susan Rodgers can be watched on YouTube and Bell FibeTV
Candy Gallant has been rescuing Prince Edward Island wildlife for decades.
Through her unwavering hope, tireless work-ethic and dedication to all animals, she has rehabilitated and released thousands of animals who might have otherwise been forgotten about.
She created PEI Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Inc. so that no injured or displaced wildlife on Prince Edward Island would be without a place to go.

Donate
Wildlife rescue and rehabilitation leads to many financial hurdles. Your financial donations are tax refundable and the funds go directly to caring for wildlife.

Volunteer
There are many ways you can volunteer ranging from assisting in animal transport, giving a helping hand at rescues, and helping out at our educational table at community events.
Educate
Help spread the word across PEI about the essential work that we do and share resources that teach what to do when you encounter an injured, orphaned or displaced animal.

We work to rescue animals across all three counties, and coordinate transport to our main location in SouthWest Lot 16.
